If your original install didn’t stick, reach out to our support team — they’ll help troubleshoot and get you back on track. If you’re starting fresh, you’ll need a new set of mounts and glue. The adhesive is not reusable once applied.
Don’t stress. It takes a little effort at first. Try rocking the putty knife back and forth while pushing down to cut through the glue. You can also go in from the sides or bottom if that feels easier. Once it starts to lift, it’ll come off smoothly.
Use the razor blade or a non-metal scrub pad to remove any leftover glue. Work slowly and keep the blade flat to protect your wall or tile.
A quick clean usually does the trick. Use a non-metal scrub pad or a bit of baking soda on a damp towel to buff away light marks. Then wipe clean and dry.
The mounts are made for one-time use, so you’ll need new ones if you want to move them. If you just applied glue and need to remove it, let the glue sit for a couple of hours until it becomes tacky before scraping it off with a razor. Trying to remove it while wet can get messy.
We don’t recommend it. Once a mount or its adhesive has been used and removed, it won’t hold as securely. Fresh mounts make for a cleaner and more reliable install.
We use tesa® Power.Kit adhesive — a high-performance, renter-friendly formula designed to hold strong on tile, glass, and metal, yet release cleanly when you’re ready to move.
We don’t recommend it. Most household glues and tapes aren’t made for wet or humid environments and can damage your wall. The Sproos! adhesive is made specifically for bathroom use and long-term hold.
